This project is distinguished by its uniqueness, as it represents an engineering work with very few comparable examples in Italy and, in Europe, second only to the one built in Salzburg.
The underground car park, located in the historic centre of Trieste, extends 170 metres into the San Giusto hill, at a variable depth ranging from 12 to 45 metres. Access to the facility was created through a 40-metre-long tunnel, which then branches into two cavern-like spaces measuring 120 metres in length, 17 metres in width, and 20 metres in height, developed across five levels connected by circular ramps.
The car park provides a total of 734 parking spaces and is also connected by a 70-metre lift to the square overlooking the Cathedral of San Giusto.
